Community Colleges of Spokane is a dynamic, 12,300-square-mile state community college district that includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and the Institute for Extended Learning. Together, SCC, SFCC and the IEL offer high-quality, affordable academic transfer, career/technical, business and community training, and adult literacy programs at more than 100 sites throughout northeastern Washington, enrolling approximately 39,000 students a year.

One of 31 community college districts in the state, CCS serves residents living in Spokane, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry and portions of Lincoln counties.

In 2000, Community Colleges of Spokane moved its administrative offices into Riverpoint One, recognizing the future importance of what has since become the University District. Owned by the CCS Foundation, the building now also houses Eastern Washington University faculty. In partnership with Washington State University and EWU, CCS has helped facilitate the development of the Riverpoint Campus Comprehensive Academic Plan. CCS looks forward to offering lower division courses in the near future for students who will transfer into WSU and EWU to complete their bachelor’s degrees.
