Board of Directors
The University District Development Association (UDDA) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that works to achieve the implementation of the 2004 University District Strategic Master Plan. The UDDA Board of Directors has representation from the academic institutions within the District, as well as other leadership important to the revitalization and development of the area.

Staff Bios
Brandon Betty, Program Manager
Brandon Betty is the Program Manager for Spokane’s University District and will work directly with the stakeholders that comprise the University District Development Association (UDDA). Brandon’s role will be to manage all University District initiatives, including project implementation, marketing and communications, and overall University District administration. Brandon will also work with public and private sector initiatives within the University District, facilitating relationships among the multiple agencies working on various projects. Finally, he will strive to grow additional partnerships within the University District to create the most broad participation possible.
Brandon received his Master's in Urban & Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University at the Riverpoint Campus and his B.A. from the University of Idaho in International Relations and Spanish Language. Brandon came to the UDDA from the City of Spokane where he worked as a Project Planner in the Business & Development Services Department on sustainability and historic preservation issues. Prior to employment with the City of Spokane, Brandon served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic specializing in Community Development.
